Professional Gun Cleaning Services
Whether you are a sports shooter, hunter, firearm enthusiast, or someone
who relies on guns for self-defense, it is crucial to use a professional gun
cleaning service to ensure your firearms stay in top condition and to
prevent accidents or malfunctions that may occur due to neglect or
improper cleaning. Professional gun cleaning services offered by SITC,
LLC are completed by the AGI Trained Gunsmith, John Vasseur.
SITC, LLC is NYS licensed and insured for gunsmithing services.
BASIC FIELD STRIP AND CLEAN: $35.00 includes a detailed
inspection and assessment of your firearm. The Basic Clean service
consists of disassembling the firearm to its major components according to
the manufacturers’ instructions, cleaning those components, lubricating it to
factory specifications, completing the reassembly, and performing a safety
check.
DEEP CLEAN: $50.00 includes everything in the Basic Field Strip
and Clean service PLUS a detailed Ultrasonic Gun Cleaning that involves
the complete disassembly (including small components) according to the
manufacturers’ instructions, inspecting all components to ensure the
firearm is reliable and safe, and finally removing all carbon. Once finished,
the firearm is inspected to ensure all carbon build-up has been removed. If
cleared, the firearm is lubricated to factory specifications, reassembled, and
undergoes a safety check/function test.
PREMIUM CLEAN: $75.00 includes everything in the Basic Clean
AND Deep Clean services PLUS waxing of the exterior metal components
and polish of wood stocks. Gun wax creates a barrier between the metal of
your gun and the elements, helping to prevent rust and corrosion.
Professional Gun Cleaning Services General Policies:
- Firearms may only be dropped off by the owner of the
firearm. Pistols and Revolvers MUST be listed on the NYS
Carry Permit of the owner. Upon service completion, the
firearm can only be released to the person who dropped it
off. - All firearms will be inspected prior to starting work. Any
firearm found to have significant wear or readily observable
damage will not be accepted for cleaning services.
Firearms services will be performed on a first come, first
served basis. - Please bring your firearm unloaded and cased.
- Please inform us of any prior work done to the firearm.
- Bring at least one magazine (if applicable) for the firearm.
- We apologize, but for insurance and legal reasons,
customers are not permitted access to the shop service
area.
We do not service black powder guns, BB guns,
pellet guns, paintball, airsoft, optics or any
firearm currently designated by New York State
to be an ‘assault weapon’ or has any of the New
York State banned features.
